If you will be leaving Boulder at the end of the semester, here are some things to consider:
- Depending on when you are due for your second dose, you may need to plan to look for a vaccine in your home city or state. However, know that it could be difficult to get a second dose at a location that is different from where you received your first dose. Many vaccine providers only receive a specific number of vaccines per shipment, which may only cover those who have already received their first dose at that specific location.
- Consider choosing a clinic or site that offers the single dose Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine, or choosing a clinic where you will be able to receive both doses.
- If you aren’t able to get a second dose at the designated time (21 days for Pfizer or 28 days for Moderna after your first dose) it’s still important to schedule an appointment with another provider to receive your second dose as soon as you’re able to.
