BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio -
Theft, Market Place Drive:
Police arrested two Oakwood women, both 21, for theft 2:40 p.m. June 22 at Walmart. One attempted to block the view while the other under-rung $95.28 in food items. Their plan failed. They will face Chardon Municipal Court.
Underage consumption, Wembly Court:
An officer on patrol saw two males near parked construction equipment 12:15 a.m. June 27 and went to investigate. One took off running leaving the other with a backpack containing beers. The remaining teen was identified as a South Russell man, 19. Police charged him with underage alcohol consumption.
Crash, US-422:
An officer found a driver passed out behind the wheel 4:50 a.m. June 25. The west-bound car went off the road and into a guardrail before landing in the median strip. The Burton man, 66, was transported to Ahuja Medical Center. Police cited him for failure to control his car.
Crash, East Washington Street:
An Auburn man, 22 suffered minor injuries 9 p.m. June 22 when his vehicle was struck in the intersection of Haskins Road. The other driver, a Bainbridge Township woman, 29, failed to yield at a stop sign. She was cited in the crash and transported to Ahuja Medical Center. The Auburn man refused medical transport.
Information received, Pilgrim Village:
A resident’s Ring camera caught someone trying to enter a locked car parked in a resident’s driveway 6 a.m. June 21. Entry was not made and police received no other reports of break-ins.
