
Havas scored at 8:04 and 36:05 off penalty corners, then 39:00 on a penalty stroke. The final two goals came within nine minutes of Longwood tying the score at one. A two-way midfielder, Havas also played a key role in Lehigh's defense that allowed only one first-half shot on goal and just one goal over the game's first 53 minutes.
Sunday Marked Lehigh's first hat trick since Gabby Tofig in October of 2016.
Havas' previous Patriot League weekly award was a Defensive Player of the Week honor last spring.
Standing 1-1 on the young season, the Mountain Hawks return to action on Sunday when they host Bryant at 11 a.m. on ESPN+.
