Between them they’ve clocked up well over 10,000 fund manager meetings and allocated billions of dollars, pounds and euros.

Citywire has brought this trio together to share their collective wisdom about how to get manager selection right. Over the next few days we’ll publish a series of short videos from our round table.

First up: what makes a good fund manager meeting?

• Mussie Kidane is head of fund and manager selection at Pictet in Geneva and was voted Europe’s most influential fund selector in 2021;
• Deb Clarke is the former global head of manager research at Mercer and a Citywire columnist and spent more than 15 years at the cutting edge of fund manager analysis;
• Bob Boyda is the former head of capital markets and strategy at Manulife Asset Management, where he designed and ran multi-manager funds, setting asset allocation and selecting PMs.
