PAULA THE BALLA
- Maurina continued her hot start to the 2021-22 season, making her return against CCSU after missing the previous five games due to injury
- After averaging 5.3 points 2.7 rebounds per game in 2020-21, Maurina leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 10.9 points while adding 3.4 rebounds in 2021-22
- She has netted double-figures in six of her past seven
- The forward dropped a team-high 10 points against the Blue Devils (Dec. 17)
- Maurina dropped a then career-high 18 points against Houston Baptist (Nov. 20)
- She matched her career-high against UAlbany, leading the Hawks to their first win of the season (Jan. 17)
- Maurina led the Hawks to an overtime victory at Binghamton (Jan. 26) with a career-best 23 points
STREETER FOR THREE
- Streeter has been on fire from three-point land in 2021-22
- After shooting 26.2 percent from three last season, the guard has significantly improved her accuracy from downtown
- Streeter leads the America East in three-pointers per game (2.7) and ranks 14th in the nation
- She also leads the conference in three-point field goal percentage (.437) and is 14th in the category nationally
VAMOS CARMEN
- Villalobos returns to the Hawks after spending the 2020-21 season in her native country of Spain
- In 2021-22, she paces the Hawks with 1.8 steals per game
- Villalobos also averages 5.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists
