WNBA fantasy and betting tips for Sunday - ESPN

Each day of the WNBA season, our team of fantasy and betting experts breaks down every game on the slate, making note of everything from injuries and lineup changes to recent trends and more.

All odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook.

Here's what to look for during today's slate:

Dallas Wings at New York Liberty
2 p.m ET, Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY

Line: Liberty (-2.0)
Money line: Liberty (-135), Wings (+115)
Total: 163.0 points

Questionable: Tyasha Harris

Ruled Out: DiDi Richards, Rebecca Allen

Fantasy Need to Know: Teaira McCowan made her season debut for the Wings on Friday, but came off the bench and only played six minutes with her new team. Meanwhile, Isabelle Harrison (77.6% available) continued to start in the middle and responded with a huge 15-point/10-rebound double-double in 29 minutes of action. It isn't clear how quickly McCowan will ramp up to starter minutes, so Harrison could maintain a short-term value player until then. Kayla Thornton (87.4% available) also continued to start and play well in the frontcourt on Friday, scoring 12 points with seven boards in 27 minutes.

Stefanie Dolson (83.9% available) had her best game of the season on Friday, notching 12 points, two steals, two rebounds, two assists, and a blocked shot in 23 minutes. Dolson has started all three games this season and has decent potential to produce points and rebounds. -- André Snellings

Best bet: Wings +2.0

The Liberty started the season with an upset 2-point win over the Sun, but followed that up by getting blown out by the Sky and losing at home to the Fever. The Wings have gone in the opposite direction, losing their opener to the Dream but bouncing back with an upset win on the road over the previously undefeated Mystics. According to the Basketball Power Index (BPI), the Wings rank seventh in the WNBA while the Liberty are currently 11th. The Wings should be slightly favored with a 50.6% chance to win outright so I'll take them with the points. -- Snellings

Atlanta Dream at Indiana Fever
3 p.m ET, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN

Line: Fever (-2)
Money line: Fever (-125), Dream (+105)
Total: 160 points

Questionable: Kia Vaughn

Ruled Out: Kia Vaughn, Bria Hartley

Fantasy Need to Know: Aari McDonald (86.5% available) got extra run in Friday's blowout loss to the Aces, and responded with a team-high 20 points, five 3-pointers, two boards, two assists, and two steals in 31 minutes. McDonald was the No. 3 pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft, and while she hasn't put together consistent production yet, she's worth keeping an eye on as a potential riser on the young, rebuilding Dream.

Queen Egbo (83.4% available) continues to dominate the paint for the Fever, averaging 11.0 RPG, 2.5 BPG, 2.5 SPG, 6.0 PPG, and 2.0 APG in her last two outings. -- André Snellings

Best bet: Under 160 points. Both of these teams have struggled on offense this season. The Fever rank 9th in Offensive Rating (93.0 points/100 possessions) and the Dream last in the league with 87.1 points/100 possessions. Atlanta has averaged 72 PPG, and have yet to score more than 77 points in any contest. The Fever have averaged 80.3 PPG, including an overtime win Friday over the Liberty. Their only two games over 80 points were against the teams with the worst defenses in the WNBA (the Liberty and Lynx rank 11th and 12th in Defensive Rating). The Dream rank second in Defensive Rating, which should contribute to a lower scoring game. -- Snellings
