Trick Daddy Makes Startling 'Drink Champs' Confession - HipHopDX
New York, NY – Trick Daddy was the most recent guest on REVOLT‘s popular podcast series Drink Champs. Par for the course, the conversation got a little wild as more alcohol was consumed. But one particular segment led to Trick Daddy becoming a trending Twitter topic on Monday night (August 30).
At one point in the discussion, Drink Champs co-host N.O.R.E. was trying to clarity on what Trick meant by “women support the booty game,” to which Trick Daddy said, “Women eat the booty, too. Yeah, I get ate out.”
As N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN sat there in shock, unsure of how to respond, Noreaga asks, “You don’t have your legs in the air though.” Trick responds, “It depends,” and the whole room erupts in laughter.

Drink Champs was trending for an entirely different reason last week after N.O.R.E. referred to Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Sunz of Man as “flunkies,” while DJ EFN and guest Mickey Factz laughed along.
After Shyheim and Killarmy caught wind of the situation, the Killa Beez swarmed, and all of those involved in the initial situation ultimately either apologized or admitted they were wrong.
“It takes a lot for someone to admit when they were wrong, so I do give him that,” Killarmy general 9th Prince told HipHopDX. “I also feel like Drink Champs should of had a few other Killa Beez on that FaceTime, so they can let their knowledge manifest through their wisdom on how they feel.”

He added, “The only real way to solve this is to have Sunz of Man and Killarmy on the show and apologize while we are all in the presence of each other and on the show, so that the fans and all the other Wu-Tang Killa Beez can see his apology is real and sincere.”
N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN have since invited Shyheim to be on an upcoming episode of the show, but it’s unclear if he’s accepted their invitation yet.
Meanwhile, fans of the show can’t stop their memes from flowing following Trick Daddy’s confession. Check out some of the best reactions below.

Critter Corner: Some tips for first-time dog owners - The Mercury News

Dear Critter Corner: We are first time dog owners and will be bringing home our pup in a couple weeks. We want to set everyone up for success, what tips do you have for first time owners like us?
Congratulations on your new pup! This is an exciting time and it’s great that you are thinking ahead.
Here are some starting points, it’s a good idea to get the whole family involved in the process. I first recommend that you set some rules and boundaries for the pup. This can include where they sleep, eat, kept when alone, and if they will be allowed on furniture to name a few. It is much easier to have strict rules to start and then lighten up as go.
Work on name recognition and focus. We want our pups to respond to their name no matter what, so get started the moment you pick up your pup. Say their name and the second they look at you or in your direction, mark that behavior with a ‘Yes’ and then follow with a treat. If they are not responding or you have changed a previously given name, you can mark and treat them anytime they look at or in your direction and then build from here.
Teach them to wait at doorways. This will help with those that like to dash through doors at any chance they get. You can ask your pup for a ‘Wait’ and then open the door to allow them out to the yard, but before they go through the door, give a release cue like ‘Okay’ or ‘Free’ and then allow them through. If they try to barge through, simply close the door and start over.
Teach your pup to ‘Sit’ for almost everything, especially for greetings. This will help teach your pup to not jump on you or your guests, an important skill to have. To start you can ask your pup for the sit and then give them some chest and chin scratches. If they get up or try to jump, pull your attention away and ask for the sit again. You will soon be on your way to having a well-behaved pup.
Lastly look at our website to see the resources we offer in the form of Classes, 1:1 Consultations, or you can call our Behavior Hotline.

Tips on how to handle hurricane claims - KATC Lafayette News

If your home or business experienced flood, wind, or other damage, contact your insurer as soon as possible to file your claim, the American Property Casualty Insurance Association recommends.
The APCIA, which is a trade organization for insurance companies, offers some advice for how to handle hurricane claims.
“We know many are currently without power and the full extent of Hurricane Ida’s devastation will become clearer in the coming days. Insurers stand ready to help policyholders following Hurricane Ida’s landfall on Sunday and help get them on the road to recovery. Insurers can be contacted through their toll-free claims number [u7061146.ct.sendgrid.net], app, website, or by text to report the damage and file your claim,” said Jeff Brewer, Department Vice President for Public Affairs, APCIA. “To help with the claims process, make an inventory of what was lost or damaged and keep any receipts for materials you purchase to assist with repairs.”
Damage associated with wind and other severe weather is typically covered under a standard homeowners, renters, or business policy, the organization says.
Property owners with flood damage need to contact their flood insurer to file a flood-related claim. Water damage to a vehicle is typically covered under an auto policy if the policyholder has chosen to purchase comprehensive physical damage coverage.
Many standard homeowners and renters policies provide reimbursement of additional living expenses when the property is determined to be uninhabitable due to damage. This provision helps pay for things like temporary housing, restaurant meals, overnight parking, and laundry service. Check with your insurer or agent for a list of what your policy will cover, the group advises.
“After the storm, watch out for dishonest contractors and third parties who often go door to door looking to scam homeowners in need of repairs. Before signing any contracts for repair work, talk to your insurer first to make sure the damage is covered and then find a licensed, reputable contractor to do the work,” added Brewer.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR HOME IS DAMAGED
- Contact your insurer as soon as possible to report the damage. If possible, have your policy number ready. If you are evacuated, you do not need to wait until you can return home before starting your claim. You can contact your insurer while evacuated to begin the claims process.
- Photograph or videotape the damage to share with your insurer and keep a copy for your records.
- Make temporary repairs if it is safe to do so. If there are holes in your roof or your windows are broken, be sure to cover them as quickly as possible to prevent further damage.
- Save receipts for any materials you purchase to assist with repairs. You may submit them to your insurer for reimbursement.
- Do not throw away any damaged items until an adjuster visits your home. Many insurers are utilizing a variety of virtual solutions to keep the claims process safe and efficient. You may collaborate with an adjuster via a video call instead of in-person.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR HOME IS FLOODED
- Shovel or scrape mud off floors, furniture, and walls before the mud dries. Then hose down the walls with clean water, starting from the ceiling.
- Major appliances, such as refrigerators and stoves, can be washed and dried completely. In most cases, they will not be damaged unless they were operating at the time the water covered them.
- Diluted chlorine bleach can be used to clean household items, appliances, walls, and floors and will help control odors.
- Wood furniture should be dried outdoors, but not in direct sunlight. Remove drawers and other moving parts before they dry.
- Food utensils and equipment should be washed thoroughly and sterilized before using. Any food that is open and exposed to flood waters should be discarded.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR VEHICLE IS FLOODED
- Be cautious about starting a vehicle that has been exposed to flood waters, and if your vehicle is missing report it to the police.
- If the water got above the floorboards, or the seats are wet, do not try to start the car. The electrical system is the most sensitive to water damage and trying to start the car could cause more damage.
- Open the hood and check the air filter. If it is wet, do not try to start the car.
- Report the loss to your auto insurer and protect the car from further damage by covering any broken windows. Water damage to a vehicle is typically covered under an auto policy if the policyholder has chosen to purchase comprehensive physical damage coverage.

How To Stay Safe And Informed About Ida In Louisiana - NPR

More than a million people are without power across Louisiana and Mississippi after Ida barreled on land as a Category 4 hurricane, bringing storm surge and high winds and killing at least one person. Ida has since been downgraded to a tropical storm and continues north.
If you're in an area affected by the storm, here are some resources that can help you stay safe and informed:
Don't venture out until it's safe to do so
Louisiana officials urged residents to stay off the roads Monday morning while damage assessments were underway. If you're in Louisiana, you can look at road closures here.
If you're in New Orleans, calling 911 may not work because of technological problems with the city's system. The Orleans Parish Communication District tweeted that residents should seek the nearest fire department or law enforcement officer if they have an emergency.
The National Weather Service New Orleans' Twitter has these reminders for residents:
We are tired. All of us are tired. This was a difficult time but now we look forward. Try to be EXTREMELY safe today as weather hazards remain in effect. Do not venture out if there is widespread damage. STAY AWAY from downed powerlines. More post-storm info to come. #lawx #mswx pic.twitter.com/u1uUYHaWLV
— NWS New Orleans (@NWSNewOrleans) August 30, 2021
If your home is damaged and you need a pet-friendly hotel, Louisiana's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness recommends this website to find one.
Know where to look for updates
For the latest coverage, tune your radio in to 89.9 for New Orleans Public Radio or listen online and read updates at WWNO's website.
If you have internet access, check these pages for updates:
- The National Hurricane Center
- The City Of New Orleans's Twitter
- The Office of Louisiana's Governor
- FEMA
If you're without internet, you can get updates via text from The Advocate and NOLA.com. Here's how to sign up:
- Text Ida to (504) 688-4438 for Ida updates for metro New Orleans.
- Text Ida to (225) 414-6471 for Ida updates for metro Baton Rouge.
The Louisiana Governor's Office reports you can also opt-in to updates from the state:
- Text IDA to 67283
- Sign up for phone calls by going to Smart911.
If you can, check in on your neighbors
When it's finally safe to venture out, try to check in on your neighbors, especially the elderly and those with disabilities.
The state's Emergency Preparedness Guide offers more steps to take in the days after a serious storm.

Trick Daddy Takes Over The Internet Following "Eat The Booty" Remarks - HotNewHipHop
This isn't the way we thought we would usher in a new week, but Trick Daddy Dollars is closing August with a bang. The Rap veteran and Love & Hip Hop Miami star is no stranger to commanding a viral moment, and on Monday (August 30), his appearance on Drink Champs has lit the internet on fire. At the moment, the Florida icon is a trending topic on multiple platforms, and it is all because he spoke about how he likes women to pay attention to his...backside.
In a clip that has been circulating like wildfire, Noreaga is seen asking Trick to elaborate on his comments that he's a part of the "eat booty gang." N.O.R.E. wanted to know if women were really engaging in that behavior with Trick and he confirmed.
